Sports

There is no denying the importance of striking a balance between academic and extracurricular activities. Physical education and sports are pivotal in the life of a student as they inculcate a sense of discipline while honing an individual’s physical and interpersonal skills.

Sports have a proven effect on the development of the mental, social and emotional well-being of a student and Manava Bharati India International School believes in encouraging these activities.

The school focuses on a diverse array of sports such as Volleyball, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Table Tennis etc.

Even as the world underwent the disturbing ordeal of the Pandemic, our students were still able to take part in online sporting activities such as Yoga, Chess, etc.

A core belief here at school is to instill the spirit of true sportsmanship and to encourage growth through a healthy sense of competition and enthusiasm.

Art And Craft Club

Art and Craft Club in the school helps the students engage their creative sides and use their imaginative sides to create new and beautiful aspects of life through various art forms and styles.

Students are exposed to several different kinds of art forms from different cultures such as Mandala, Warli, Gonda and Madhubani. They are also introduced to Modern and Postmodern Art. Here at school, there are several events and competitions that allow the children to engage in activities and healthy competitions that bring out the best of their artworks such as Rangoli making, poster design, Origami, etc.

The school hopes to create a carefree and bright environment which stimulates the students to create the most beautiful and unique art possible.

Creative Arts

Art projects, music and movement activities, and dramatic play to encourage self-expression, creativity, and fine motor skills.

Environmental Exploration

- Interactive experiments, model demonstration, nature walks, and sensory activities to spark curiosity and promote scientific thinking.

Transportation

The School provides transport facility through school buses and vans with the safety and security of the students. Each bus is driven by a well-trained driver and has the presence of a care taker to escort the child.

AVAILABILITY OF TRANSPORT FACILITY

  • The transport will be available depending on the number of students from any particular area. In case the school transport is not available, the parents will have to make their own arrangements.
  • The transport fee is payable in advance.
  • Partial or one way usage of school transport is not allowed. One month’s notice to the transport incharge is required for withdrawal of transport facility.
  • Violation of any rule or code of conduct mentioned below may result in fine/debarment of the transport facility to the student.

ROUTES / BUS STOP / BUS TIMING

  • The route is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters and is subject to change. No diversion/extension will be entertained on existing routes.
  • The drivers are authorised to stop buses at designated stops only unless otherwise directed by the Bus Incharge.
  • Regarding any change of bus stop, the Guardian must intimate the Transport in charge , one month in advance.
  • The students should reach the respective bus stop ten minutes earlier than the stipulated time.
  • Buses will not wait for the latecomers.
  • Parents when they visit the school for any purpose will not be allowed to take their ward along with them, without prior intimation to the Class Teacher/Transport Incharge

CCTV and Security

Given the changing times, the challenges of safety and security of students and staff are of paramount importance in Manav Bharati School. SOP is framed with a regular check system to ensure that there are no lapses in following the norms.

Some of the highlights include:

  • CCTV cameras are installed at all strategic places in the school for real-time monitoring and surveillance.
  • Security Guards are on duty 24×7 at the school gates.
  • Student’s attendance is maintained in physical form as well updated on the school app as the students enter the school.
  • Young children are always escorted by a lady attendant whenever they go to the washroom.
  • The movement of students is regulated under the supervision of staff, both on arrival and at the time of departure.
  • Staircases are constructed on both sides of the building to regulate the smooth movement of students.
  • School follows building and fire safety norms as per the standards fixed by the Govt.
  • Students are educated on fire safety and crisis management skills by trained Govt. officials.
  • Mock drills on disaster and fire safety are conducted twice a year.

Free Play

-Unstructured playtime for children to explore, create, and engage in imaginative play, fostering creativity and independence.

Math Readiness

Hands-on math activities, games, and puzzles to introduce basic mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
